I would like to take a moment and talk about my experience with Donna Wood. She was incredibly helpful and informative while helping me buy my first home. As you know buying a first house is incredibly confusing and overwhelming; she was extremely patient and understanding (as I asked many of the same questions over again and over again). She always provided me information that she thought would be helpful such as tips on buying a home, financing, things to expect at closing (just to name a few); and no matter how many times she had to explain a process, rule, or procedure to me she always took the time to make sure I understood and wasn’t overwhelmed. 

I went under contract for my first house that was a short sale. Ultimately it didn’t work out due in part to my frustration with the Sellers and the listing agent; Donna again was patient and very supportive in my decision making. We started house hunting again; in the end I decided to build new. She was there every step of the way so that I was comfortable with the home building process and keeping up with me during the entire build.

She is a real asset to your company and I just wanted you to know that she represented your company with the utmost respect and dignity as I’m sure you would expect.

This is the 2nd time that I have had Donna list a home for my family, and this time went just as well as the first.  Donna always makes this process as unstressful as possible.  This time around we were dealing with a bit of a different market than a couple of years ago when we sold our other house.  Donna was very realistic and honest about what to expect, from pricing to time frames, and the numbers and types of buyers that are out there in our price range.  From start to finish, Donna made the whole experience of selling our house a very smooth one.

We recently both bought and sold a house through Donna Wood.  I am writing to express my complete appreciation for everything Donna did for us. I happened to see an ad for a home I was interested in, not really expecting to move, and Donna offered to show it to me.  When we saw what was available for sale, we decided to move forward with the process. We found a home we could envision ourselves in for many years.  The nerve-wracking part was that we had not yet listed our current home. The spontaneity and uncertainty of going thru the process was nerve-wracking. Donna was encouraging and optimistic, though she was never unrealistic.  She kept me grounded throughout the process. She predicted our house would sell within 3 months and we had a contract within 10 days.  I think this had a lot to do with keeping our pricing realistic and Donna's efforts to market out house in such a wonderful way.  I also think her open lines of communication with the other agents on both the buying and selling ends helped to make both transactions go smoothly.  We couldn't be happier.  Donna was obviously the key player in seeing both transactions work out without incident.  We value Donna's efforts and will definitely recommend her to anyone in the housing market.

In June 2006, we decided to downsize to a smaller home.  We listed our 5 bedroom pool home in Valrico with another agent.  Twelve months passed, with not one offer.  In June 2007, we asked Donna Wood to list our home.  We were immediately impressed with Donna's knowledge of the market.  From the beginning, she took charge and toldl us exactly what needed to be done to sell the house.  Unlike our previous agent, Donna always kept us informed of what was going on.  Two months after Donna listed the house, we had an offer and closed in August 2001.

Ours is a military family, sent to far-flung places as Uncle Sam deems necessary.  In 15 years of home buying and selling, we've encountered our share of real estate agents, Realtors and brokers.  Some were better than others; a few still give us nightmares.  In our minds, a single person has redeemed the credibility of your profession.  She's Donna Wood...and aren't you lucky she's a Realtor in your office?
It's true we had a rapport with Donna because she knows the unique needs of military buyers and sellers.  Our appreciation goes deeper than her experience as a military spouse, or even her extensive knowledge of the market and process. The awesome qualities she brings to the table are innate: honesty, reliability and an intuitive ability to meet the needs of clients who may not themselves know what they need.
Within the week we had available, Donna helped us find the right house at the right price and walked us through the steps to buy it. She made the closing a dream, welcomed us to the neighborhood and helped us settle in.  Less than a year later, she took on the challenge of selling the same house when we had to relocate.  And guess what?  She found qualified buyers, made the closing a dream again, and sold our house at a profit.  And when she knew we had 'hit the wall' and couldn't do one more thing, she quietly took her little tub of putty/spackle and filled the holes in our laundry room wall!!! We want to be sure you understand just how rare we think Donna is, in the world of real estate and in the world at large.  After all, when you have more than a few years of life under your belt, you don't trust just anyone.  Donna is one of the few individuals we trust completely.

Everyone that is looking for a Realtor, look no further.  I was a military first time homebuyer and did not know that much about houses. My first encounter with a Realtor did not go that well.  The realtor seemed to think that he should show me the houses he thought I should buy; not the ones that I wanted to buy.  Donna will not waste your time doing that; she will make sure that you are looking at what you want and also help you find the right neighborhoods. I was very pleased with the service that I received from Donna.  No matter how picky you are she will find the house for you.  I was recommended to Donna from a friend and he was right; she is definitely a great Realtor!
